LEXINGTON, OHIO - Relay for Life celebrates survivorship and raises money for breast cancer research. Worldwide, breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer after lung cancer, and annually, half a million people succumb to this disease. A pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness, and our own big pink guy was more than happy to march with local survivors, friends, and family, to promote awareness for this deadly disease.
Getting tested regularly is the best way for women to lower their risk of dying from breast cancer. Screening tests can find breast cancer early, when it's most treatable. For more informaiton, visit Ted's friends at Relay for Life at www.relayforlife.org/relay/crfbbreast.
